Meet Our Pastor
Senior Pastor In Charge
Pr Boby Maniattu Joy
I was born and brought up in a Pentecostal family at Mylapra. At the age of 12, I encountered Jesus and at a very young age, called to be His servant for HIS Kingdom; and as such, I have accepted Jesus Christ as my personal saviour and got baptised on 20th November 1998. I started my journey as a worship Leader. I was a Worship Leader as well as a Youth Leader in Bahrain church from May 1996 to February 2004. As per God’s plan, my spouse came to the United Kingdom in June 2003 and I came here in April 2004. I was one of the founding members of Mahaniam Church of God Manchester. Thereafter, God called me for His Ministry. Here too I started as a Worship Leader and later on became a leader of the church. I served as Pastor for 12 years. As per God’s plan and purpose, I was transferred and took charge as Pastor-in-Charge of Bethel NTCG, Wirral from January 2017 onwards.
I am an ordained Full Minister of New Testament Church of God. On 14th of January, 2023 God paved the way for opening a Branch at another location in Ellesmere Port. My endeavour continues as envisaged in Colossians, Chapter 1, verse 28. “Proclaim him, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone perfect in Christ”. I am always willing to work for the expansion of the Kingdom of God and am ready to serve for the glorification of God. I am ready to labour and struggle for the expansion of His Kingdom with the help of the Holy Spirit, as God desires.
